At the end of day 1 of our journey, Chevy asked us to make a work of art using nothing but the items we had in our hotel room.

We were still feeling incredibly inspired by our visit to Fairview Public School and Ms. Miller’s 1st grade class, that we decided to recreate the cover of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

This is our thank you to Ms. Miller’s class for hosting us today. We have emailed them this video.

The art work was made from:

- 6 doritos chips left over from a snack
- Hot tamale candy
- a box of milk duds
- 3 bananas that were supposed to be for breakfast (worth it)
- M&Ms
- packets of Splenda from the hotel bathroom
- paper coffee cups from the hotel bathroom
- towels from the hotel bathroom
- tissue paper from the hotel bathroom
- red tea bags from the hotel bathroom
- leaves that had shed from hotel plants

Yes, we’re pretty talented.

If you’re interested in making your own, we can send you the 1-hour step by step instructional video.
